Welcome to Rebel Kitchen, a family-owned and operated restaurant serving bold, Hawaiian-inspired food made with fresh, quality ingredients. Since opening our doors in 2011, our husband-and-wife team has been committed to creating flavorful burgers, sandwiches, salads, plates, and house-made sauces that bring together the best of island-inspired cooking.

We believe great food starts close to home. Whenever possible, we source ingredients from local farmers, fishermen, butchers, and island suppliers, supporting our community while showcasing the incredible ingredients Hawaii has to offer.

Taking care of our ʻāina is just as important to us. We use eco-friendly food packaging whenever possible to help reduce our environmental impact and preserve the island we are proud to call home.

From our locally inspired dishes to our famous house-made hot sauces and condiments, everything at Rebel Kitchen is created with quality, flavor, and care in mind.

Why Rebel?

We became Rebels by choosing to follow our dream.
We were two kids with a vision of opening a restaurant of our own. After years of planning, working, and saving, we finally took the leap—and in 2011, Rebel Kitchen was born.

From day one, our mission has been simple: serve real food packed with flavor, made with love, and create a welcoming place for our local community and visitors alike.

We are a true mom-and-pop restaurant, which means we're hands-on in everything we do. What started as a dream has grown into a local favorite known for bold flavors, Hawaiian-inspired food, homemade hot sauce, and genuine island hospitality. By popular demand, we've even expanded our house-made condiments so you can take a little taste of Rebel Kitchen home with you.
